MILITARY SERVICE BOARD.

LOCAL APPEAL. At the sitting of the Military Service Appeal Board at Palmerston .North this week the appeal of Samuel James . Read, labourer, Foxton, was dismissed, appellant being classed C2. Samuel Cox, of Foxton, whose appeal was adjourned from the July silling, produced a certificate regarding liis wife’s health. Appellant asked for financial assistance in the purcha.-e of his house property. The Board stated that a recommendation would be made that appellant’s interest, rates and insurmice lie paid.
