RULES FOR HEALTH AND SAVINGS.
Everybody hoav Avislies to get the most good out of the food they eat; it is only patriotic to do so. Here are some aids to that end: — 1. —Do not cat fast. 2. — Chew all food very thoroughly; half a meal Avell eheAved it better than a Avhole meal bolted. 3. —Eat hard food Avith, or after, all soft foods, such as porridge, milk pudding, etc. 4. —Do not eat betAvecn meals. 5. —Be moderate in seasonings, salt, pepper mustard, etc. '■ G. —Do not drink tea Avith, or after meat; this is extravagant, and a fruitful source of indigestion. 7. —Do not let tea stew on the leaves; hreAV about three minutes 8. —Never take tea more than tAvice a day under any circumstances; and if you Avish to save, substitute hot water for tea on one one of these occasions. !). —It will take less tea in the pot if yon Avarm'thc latter thoroughly before putting in the tea. To warm the tea itself, on a plate in an oven, just before using it, r.-. also a way to get (he most good out of i)ic tea.
