' The lion. Sir James Allen (Alinistor of Defence) has received the following cablegram from Brigad-ier-General Richardson, G.O.G. New Zealand Forces in England: —“The G.O.C. New Zealand Division recommends (hat gift parcels bo confined !u woollen articles, milk, and tobacco, which ma v be sent Home in hulk, if extra money is available by this arrangement it should be sent for distribution to units to purchase extras, for which purpose 2s per month per man would bo ample.”
