TO HIMATANGI FARMER. Mr. Nat Brown, a well-known lllmatangi farmer, met with a serious accident yesterday afternoon. While engaged in carting flax from the back of his property he received a kick from a horse, whicli broke his leg. There was no one-in the locality at the time, and the unfortunate sufferer had to remain whore he had fallen from 4.30 p.m. until between 0 and 10 o’clock at night before a search party discovered him. He was removed to his home, and medical assistance telephoned for from Palmerston. For some reason or oilier no medical man came, and this morning the injured man was convoyed to the district hospital in Mr Coley’s car. It is to be sincerely hoped that no complications will ensue as the result of delay in securing medical aid.
