THE HEMP MARKET.
HIGH COMMISSIONER'S REPORT. The High Commissioner cabled as follows at noon yesterday:— Manila hemp is in fair supply this week, and prices remain steady. Small sales have taken place for Government graded fair at £BO per ton. The New Zealand spot market is firm, and prices are: good fair near at hand £95, fair on spot £9l. Business has been done with New Zealand high point fair for JulyJanuary delivery at £B7 per ton.
