TOWN CLERK’S REPORT.

The Town Clerk reported as follows at last night’s Council meeting:— “The road staff has been engaged on the following works during the past month: —Cleaning drains, repairing roads, cleaning round ornamental trees, korbing footpath Cook Street, and general maintenance work. It is proposed to proceed with the kerbing of Cook and Johnston Streets during the present month, and (as the metal ordered from Tiakitahuna will be coming to hand in the course of a few days) with the metalling of the various streets as mentioned in my last report.”
