There to resume our ordinary tasks. W Beshrew me, William, how the irksome thought Is ever with me. ’Tis but now I heard Yon caitiff captain urge the engineer to “hit her up,” and, hearing, cursed his birth. M. May, never curse him; thus lie earns his bread; But if, perchance, among yon firemen wights One might be found amenable to gold, A spanner, haply, dropped among the gears W. ’Twere little worth; for sure that by his skill Marconi hath M. Dogs desecrate his grave! Neither on land nor sea may peace he,found. “Allen demands more men than I can spare." “Herries is cutting out essential trains." Thus runs the tale from weary hour to hour. Mark well yon vailer who doth now approach: ’Tis as I feared, ypt more, and more, and more. “The civil servants seek enhanced largesse." “’Tis urged that no man after six shall drink.” “Bussell reports a quinnat in the Hutt.” “MacDonald buys a large 'Store of Austral mice.” “Herdman and Findlay quarrel, hie thee home.” “Hasten thine advance or the tote is doomed.” Such are the joys that wait us!
