PATRIOTIC SHOP.
The special effort in aid of the Y.ALC.A. War Fund was conducted al the Patriotic Shop by Airs Charles Robinson, assisted by Misses Symons and I. Robinson, and a very successful result—£2(s 14s—was realised. The competition for a cake was won by Alcsdames Teviotdale and Freeman, and Airs Beveridge won the camisole. Nobody guessed the name of a prize rooster donated by Mr AL IT. Walker, and the bird was sold. Air W. Hamer donated £1 worth of tickets to admit to his picture theatre. Speirs, and a friend. Air Edgar Cowley has very kindly pa in led the outside of the shop free of any cost, and provided a sign, and the Society is very grateful to him.
Next Saturday the shop will he under the charge of Mesdamcs J. W. Robinson and Harvey.
