Tlh> meeting- of tin; AlanaBowling ('outre was hold yesterday afternoon. Present: Messrs ■I..A. Nash ('president). Harford ' Feilding), Lind (Shannon)) L’. Mowleiu (Palmerston), A. Pickering (Levin). X. IT. Xasli (Woodville), and W. .Jones (seerelary). The president also represented I lie Dannevirko Chib. The halanee-sheet showed a prolit of £l2 J9s. A banns of £7 7s was voted to the hon. secretary in recognition of Mr W. Jones’ excellent work during the year. It Avas ' decided to hold the next annual tournament on Palmerston greens on January Ist, 2nd and 3rd, and that outside clubs be invited to compote. The election of ollicors resulted as follows: President, Air J. A. Xash (re-elected); vice-presidents, Air Harford, Bedding (re-elected), and Air Fletcher (Terrace End) ; secretary and treasurer, Mr F. Mowleni. It. was decided to hold a meeting- in October to arrange for the annual tournament.
