DATE OF HIS RELEASE.' Considerable interest is felt in and out of Parliamentary circles as to when Mr P. C. Webb,' M.P., convicted of making a seditious utterance, will be released from gaol. Answering a question on the subject by a Post reporter, the Minister of Justice (Hon. J. A. Hanan) said that Mr Webb was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment. That would date from the commencement of the ease. That left about two months for him to serve. There are no remissions to bo earned by prisoners sentenced to terms up to three months, so that Mr Webb will he discharged from Lyttelton Goal on 31st July.
