BEACH IMPROVEMENT COMMITTEE.
At a meeting of the Eoxton Beach Improvement Committee, the Secretary reported that he had met with great success with his subscription list. He had now in hand and promised about £25. Every householder at the Beach was heartily (ailing in line with the Committee's efforts to improve Hie beach. A hearly vole of thanks Avas passed to Mr Beveridge ,of Eoxton, for his donation of timber, and to .Air Buck for donation of Avheels. It Avas decided to start immediately Avith the building of sheds, Avhieh are to he 9ft. hy s ft., Avith a Oft stud. The question of securing a suitable site for a tennis court was also discussed, and held over until a later dale.
The secretary would be pleased to hear of tiny person who can olfcr tiny assistance or suggest ions (hal may help the Committee Avith (heir Avork;als«> to remind householders that the tree-planting season is near, and hopes (hey Avill try and do a little planting this season.
