At first glance there Avas nothing much about the photograph to attract any attention, but it has a history {ill its oavu. It was picked-up in an old German dug-out in January. On the back is Avritten “With love from Edna, aged 5 years and t) mouths,” and the address of the studio. The soldier avlio found it addressed the letter to Wellington, apparently thinking it was in England. First of all it avus sent to Wellington, (Somerset, then to Wellington, Durham, and on to Wellington Salop. Every town and city of the name avus tried, and finally it reached Wellington, Ncav Zealand, Avherc its travels ended. There is no name on the photo to indicate the previous owner, and up till the present it remains unclaimed.
