WIZARD DIM VEIN At the Town Hall on Wednesday evening' next, Mr Driver, lire famous magician and exposer of spirit mediums, will make hs reappearance in Eoxton after many years' absence. He lias completed a comprehensive tour of the North Island, drawing very large audiences, and receiving very eulogistic praise from the Press. Speaking of the entertainment, an exchange says; “If yon want to experience the thrill of an excursison into the realms of pure marvel, go and see Driver. If yon want to live over again the delights of your boyhood reading of the Arabian Nights, submit yourself to the illusions of Driver, if you want to enjoy seeing things happen that you know don’t happen, and yet you and everybody else see them happen, spend an evening with Driver, in the realms of sleight-of-hand and legerdemain, as a conjurer, a wizard with the magic wand, as a magician who creates the most inexplicable illusions and mystifies, with the most startling impossibilities, this man Driver is as clever in his jierformance as he is original in his conceptions.” -Mr Driver brings to Pox ton an entirely new mystery in his “Spirit Paintings,” which are said to be inexplicable, and something altogether away from any other illusions hitherto presented by him; while his “spiritual manifestations” are carried out in the light, and not in the dark, as with the mediums. * A bumper house is assured, and intending patrons would do well to
