ENTERTAINMENTS.
DRIVER TUB MAGICIAN. At the Town Hall next Wednesday evening, Mr Thus. W. Driver makes his reappearance in Foxton after an absence of eight years. Referring to his entertainment, the Nelson Colonist- says: — “That Driver, the magician and exposer of spirit mediums, is a strong drawing card has been fully proved by his two nights’ season in Nelson. On Saturday night hundreds were turned away, ami last night tin 1 School of Music was packed to the doors. Driver’s magic is as good as ever, and he has not lost any of his old dash, while as an exposer of what is known as “modcnl spiritualism 11 he excels, introducing, as he does, nearly all the famous manifestations of noted spirit mediums. His spirit paintings arc a new and inexplicable mystery, while his production of apporls is extremely remarkable. In presenting this work of the spirit mediums, Driver undoubtedly “applies the acid." Altogether his new entertainment is well worth seeing, being novel, clean, clever, and laughable.
