HIGH COAIAHSSIONER’S REPORT. The High Commissioner cabled as folloAVs at noon yesterday; — The hemp market remains firm. There is a general and active demand. hut little offered from Ncav Zealand. It is reported that there are 70,00 b bales afloat from-Manila under government control. New Zealand fair, May to June shipment. is selling at £B3. Good fair on spot is nominally £B4 10s, fair £B3 10s.
