ACCIDENTALLY KILLED.

Rotorua, May .14,

Edward Dope, aged 35, of Rotorua, was accidentally killed by tho discharge of his own gun whilst shooting at Whakataue on Sunday, The trigger caught in a-fern.

News was received yesterday that Mr Frederick Olsen, licensee of (he Manuka Hotel, Onehunga, had been accidentally shot dead while out rabbiting. The deceased was a native of (Queenstown, and before becoming a licensed victualler was in business in Auckland as a uiannfaeturer. He has left a widow and two children. Mrs Green, licensee of the Caledonian Hotel, Wellington, is his sister.
