SUICIDE.

Wairoa, May 8. News reached town last evening that a young man named William i'.ric A’eale, aged lib, son of Mr W. A, Neale, a well-known retired farmer at W aika remoana. had been lound dead with a bullet wound over the heart. The body was brought two miles over rough country, and an inquest was held about midnight. The evidence disclosed that deceased bad brooded over the Diet Dial a medical board bad turned him down on 4th May. Deceased said that he was no use in this world if he could not go to the war. A verdict of suicide while suffering from temporary insanity, caused through rejection lor active service, was relit rued.
