Yesterday morning a “working bee” of twelve members of the local Club was on the green from nine o’clock, and topdressed the whole of it, with the exception of one rink, finishing I lie work at half-past twelve. Everything is now ready for sowing the seed, which will be done almost immediately, and the green should be in really first-class order next season. One rink will be left, for a few weeks for the convenience of members who wish to play, but the preparation of same will have to be done by the players themscl-
