HIGH COMMISSIONER'S REPORT.
The High Commissioner cables as follows at noon yesterday:— The hemp market is strong for spot, there being a good demand for all descriptions. The market is active owing to the small arrivals. Good fair New Zealand £75 10s, fair £72, government graded fair Manila £9O. coarse £79. April-June shipment, good fair New Zealand £73, fair £7], government graded fair Manila £95, coarse £7B. The output for the fortnight ending 17th March was 37.000 bales.
