PATRIOTIC GARDEN FETE.
AT MOUTOxA—WEDNESDAY,
Wednesday next will be a gala day at Moutoa, the occasion being a grand patriotic garden fete which the residents of that district have organised in aid of the Red Cross Fund. The fete will he held in Mr Newth’s grounds, and will be open from noon until dark. Complete arrangements have been made, and given fine weather a very substantial addition to the Red .Cross Fund should result. Competitions of all kinds have been arranged, including guessing, chain . stepping, driving (both ladies and gentlemen), etc. A number of stalls will he on the ground, and visitors will he able to
purchase anything from a needle to an anchor. The programme has been so arranged that amusement will be afforded young and old. Afternoon tea and soft drinks will be obtainable on the ground.
