GRAND NATIONAL CONCERT.
A perusal of the programme published in another column will show Hint those who attend the entertainment on Friday evening (St. Patrick's night) will he trealed In a concert of exceptional merit. Alosl of the items are new, and have been chosen with a view to making the programme as varied and as attractive as possible. The local talent secured is of the best, and will no doubt prove as [(leasing to the public as on former occasions. Tin* Native performers are a (alented trio, and their tuneful singing will he quite a feature of I Ik* entertainment. Miss Tabor, a character sketch artiste, and Air Berryman, of Palmerston North, will he new performers locally. The la!lei’ has kindly consented to give, besides a cornet sole, an exhibition of Ids prowess with the big drum, an item which is guaranteed to “bring down the house.”
