ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
Gore, March 10. John Dillon, a retired farmer, aged 74, accompanied by two sons, was returning from a sale in a motor ear, when the ear crashed info the end of a bridge and capsized into a. hollow. Mr Dillon senior, who was driving, was killed; the sons were only bruised. Ashburton, March 10. Patrick MeMinemin, u small farmer, of Highbank, was found dead with a fractured skull this morning, on Borders road, near Met liven. lie had apparently fallen from a gig. An inquest is being held this afternoon. Ashburton, March 10. Mrs Ellen (Skilling, Riverside, was found, dead at her residence by her husband at 5 o'clock this morning. The deceased had been complaining recently of pains in the heart.
