MILITARY APPEAL BOARD.
The Military Service Board continued its sittings at the Courthouse, Palmerston North, yesterday morning. Mr D. G. A. Cooper presided, and Avitii him were Messrs Am. Perry and D. McLaren. Captain Orr Walker represented the Department. Henry Walker, farmer, Ilimitaugi, who was called up under section 35 and whose appeal was adjourned sine die, was drawn again in the ballot, and a similar decision was made, his brother having already gone into camp. The appeal was adjourned sine die. George Harper, dairy farmer, Marotiri, asked for two mouths’ extension of time. He was 31 years old and single. His farm was 70 acres freehold, and he milked 40 cows Avitli the assistance of a, brother. He would be satisfied with u mouth’s leave. The Boai’d grunted till April oth.
