PATRIOTIC SHOP.
The Patriotic Shop was open as usual last Saturday, under the charge of Mrs Kclimv and Miss Signal,' and good business was done. Gifts are gratefully acknowledged from the following:—Mesdaraes A. Ross, Healey, John Robinson, McLeod, Jas. Robinson, AVoodroofe, A. S. Easton, Hawke, Jno Ross, Signal, Duggan, King, (.'has. Robinson, J. Stevenson, F. de Kidder, E. Robinson, Miss Speirs, Messrs Bullard, G. Huntley, M. H. Walker, Chung Wab, Bock, W. E. Barber, Greig. The Motueka apples were on sale, and the toilet box was won by Mr G. Edwards, who guessed the correct number of beads in a necklace.
Next Saturday the shop will he under the charge of Mrs A. J. Gibbs and Mrs .Jennings, wife of Lieut. Jennings, now lighting in Prance. A further supply of Motueka apples will be on sale, either by the ease or the pound, and a competition is being arranged.
