HEMP GRADINGS.

The total number of bales of hemp graded last month was 12,123, as compared with 10,823 for the corresponding period of last year, an increase of 1,300 bales. For the twelve’ months ended 31st January, 1917, the number of bales graded was 152,1-11, as compared with 125,095 for (he previous twelve months, an increase of 27,046 bales.

For the twelve months ended 31st January, 1917, the number of hales of tow graded was 40,284, as compared with 34,294 for the previous twelve months, an increase of 6,000 hales.
