HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT.
The High Commissioner cabled yesterday at noon as follows: — The hemp market remains firm, There is only a small supply. The market is advancing owing to strong demand. Quotations nominal. Good fair £66. February-April shipment, good fair £66, fair £64, government graded fair manila £BO, coarse £65. The output from Manila for the week was 22,000 bales.
