VOLUNTARY RECRUITING.
FAIRLY SATISFACTORY RESULTS. When all the circumstances are taken into consideration the response given to the call for recruits for the 27th and 28th Reinforcements is considered to have been fairly satisfactory. The following tables show the quotas required from the various recruiting districts, the number of recruits who have come forward, and the number to be supplied by ballot from those remaining in the first division of the Expeditionary Force Reserve: — 27th.
