To-morrow afternoon two rinks from Shannon will visit Foxton, one to play the holders of the Kinniburgh Feathers (Large, Ball, Nye and Eimmer (s) ; and the other to endeavour to gain possession of the Awahou' Feathers, at present held by Lumsden, Walker, Hawke, .F. Whibley (s). On the Palmerston North green on Saturday a challenging rink from Masterton succeeded in defeating the holders of the Dixon Cup, the final scores being: Masterton 20, Palmerston 15.
