PATRIOTIC SHOP.
The Patriotic Shop was opened on Saturday last, under the charge of Mrs Baker and Miss Speirs, and very good business was done. Gifts are gratefully acknowledged from Mesdames F. Robinson, Harvey, Hussey, Jas. Robinson, Woudroofe, W. King, A. King, Gibbs, C, Hunt, Speirs, Howan, Hawke, John Robinson, A. Ross, McLeod, Firth, R. Moore, Hoskins, C. Robinson, C. Symons, and Friend, Miss Thynne/ Messrs Gibbs, Bullard, Hughes, Rockel, C. Morgan, Bowe, Purcell, Greig, De Kidder, and W. Ross.
Next Saturday Mrs Charles Robinson will have charge, and the public are urged to assist as much as possible, as the Patriotic Shop is now the best source of revenue for the Wounded Soldiers’ Fund, and good value is guaranteed.
