PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
The quarterly district executive Committee meeting of the above was held at Rangiotu on Tuesday, at 11 a.m. Present : Rev J. 11. Bredin (moderator), Alessrs T. Henderson, Alex. Speirs, AA r . Renton, R. McMurray, Foxton, McCaulay, Wilton, and- Gleudinning (Ran giotu), Costall and Farmer (Glen Oroua. A good deal of general business was transacted. The treasurer (Air Renton) presented the quarterly financial clatemenl, which disclosed a satisfactory slate of affairs, and was favourably commented upon by members. Details in connection with the leasing of the church seelion at Rongotea were satisfactorily explained and agreed to. The novice of motion hy Air Wilton that in future olny three meetings be held annually was withdrawn after discussion. Accounts were passed for payment. A vote of thanks was passed to the treasurer. The next meeting is to be held at Foxton. Subsequently ihe Committee were* hospitably entertained at luncheon by the several lady members of the Rangiotu congregation, and in a neat and characteristic speech by Mr Coslail were suitably thanked.
