BABY SHOW.
The baby show at the Friendly Societies’ pienie in Victoria Park on New Year’s Day created a great deal of interest, and the judges experienced considerable difficulty in making their awards.
The prizes were* awarded sis follows :
Girls under 0 months. —Mrs Libline, Foxton, 1; Mrs Doney, Foxton,
Boys under 6 months. —Mrs McEwen, Kurere, 1; Mrs Lee, Foxton,
Girls under twelve months. —Mrs Henricksen, Foxton, 1; Mrs Tollison, Foxt on, 2.
Boys under twelve months. —Mrs Webb, Palmerston North, 1; Mrs Stacey, Feilding, 2.
The judges were Mesdames Chatfield, Walker and Graham.
