NEW ZEALAND HEROES.
London, Bee. 11. Military Crosses have been awarded to the following New Zealanders: Captain William Johnston Norman Prior, who went over the parapet and rescued wounded men under an intense lire, and (he Rev. Richards, for lending wounded for two days under heavy lire; and to Lieutenants Avery, Bongard, Galloway, Hally, Hargesl, and MawSllll. Distinguished Conduct Medals were awarded lo the following New Zealanders: Sergt.-Major Riddell, Corpl. Seavie, Pis. Barr and A. Smith, and Gnr. Seine. The latter rescued a gunner pinned among debris in a burning gun pit.
