For some years past (lie Committee have had to depend upon the children’s charts by way of an annual coneert in order to supplement the capitation grant to meet necessary expenditure incurred to keep the school environment up to the mark. Patriotie calls, however, have been made upon the children daring the past two years, and the annual concerts have been abandoned. The school Ims assisted various funds, and now makes a modest appeal on its own behalf. Air Ait ken has elmrge of the concert arrangements, and special films have been secured, including illustrated songs. The charge of admission will be Is to any part of (lie bouse, children half-price, and judging by the ready sale of liekets there should he a bumper house.
