LICENSE REFUSED.

POP NEW PICTURE THEATRE,

Auckland. November 3,

The City Council has refused to grant a license to Everybody's Picture Theatre, one of the newest and most modern in Queen street, on the recommendation of the Superintendent of the Fire Brigade and the chief building inspector. This is the outcome of the dispute in regard to (he refreshment lounge, through which patrons have to pass going from the street to the picture hall.
