PALMERSTON SHOW.

Entries have dually closed tor the above event, and come well up to expectations, being' about the same as last year's. In view of the scarcity of labour caused through the great numbers who have enlisted, this is rather remarkable, and indicates, to those who are familiar with the situation, great sacrifice on (ho part of exhibitors in order to keep the Shows going. Preparations are almost complete, and exhibits are already arriving. Should the weather be favourable next, week, another highly successful event may be anticipated.
