SCHOOL COMMITTEE.

The ordinary meeting of the local Slate School Committee was held on Tuesday night. Present: Messrs Hornblow (Chairman), McMurray (secretary), Rev. .). H. Bredin, McCall, Betty, Perrcau and Woods. The Chairman reported that the Board's foreman of works had inspected the work carried out by the Committee re erection of doors in three of the class-rooms, and had passed the work, and the accounts re same bad been forwarded to the Board, who agreed to pay half-cost.
