SHAM DOCTOR SENT TO GAOL.
Dunedin, Sept. 19. George Imory was to-day, in the Police Court, sentenced to three months’ imprisonment for falsely rejireseuting himself as a Syrian doctor who could cure rheumatism. Accused obtained Jive guineas from a woman whose legs he scarred with burning wood, and put a pellet of beeswax in, covering up the wound with leaves..
