HIGH COMMISSIONER’S RE- - PORT. The High Commissioner cabled yesterday at noon as follows; — The hemp market is firm, with a hardening tendency. Light shipments are expected from Manila. Good fair Now Zealand £4!) 10s, fair £47 10s; Government graded fair Manila. £52, coarse. £4B 10s. October-December shipment: Good fair New Zealand £4O, fair £47 Government graded fair Manila £sl, coarse £4O 10s. The output from Manila for the week was 25,000 bales. The stocks df New Zealand hemp on hand at the end of August were 403 tons.
