The High Commissioner, cabled vesterdav at noon as follows; —
The hemp market is firm at I lie advance. Good fair New 'Zealand £4O 10s, fair £47 10s; Government graded fair Manila £52, coarse £4O. forward shipment; Good fair Now Zealand £4O, fair £47; Government graded fair Manila. £sl, coarse £4B 10s. The output from Manila for the week was 24)000 bales.
