CONVICTIONS FOR DRUNKENNESS.
RECORDS AT CHRISTCHURCH
Christchurch, August 31
For Iho second time this week there were* in* charges of drunkenness at the Police Court this morning. The officials state that this is a record in the annals of the Court for many years. There have been only three-convict ions for drunkenness in the last throe days, and the police state that this is another record.
