DEATH UNDER ANAESTHETIC.
. Rotorua, August 12. Arthur M. Potts, aged fortythree, from Taimmrunui, collapsed in a private hospital here jester-, day afternoon under chloroform, preparatory to a dental operation. Efforts to restore animation by two doctors were unsuccessful. At the inquest this morning, Mr Dyer, the coroner, returned a verdict of death from heart failure under an anaesthetic. He added that everything possible was done and due precautions were taken.
