Auckland, August 2. After a trial lasting forty-seven days, the jury which heard the charges against Rua gave their verdict to-night after deliberating for six and a-half hours. They found accused guilty of resisting the police at, Waiili hut not guilty of using seditious language. On the Mauugapolmtu charges of counselling to do grievous bodily harm, the jury disagreed. The Judge intimated that he would defer his decision as to what course he would take until the morning.
