HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT.
The High Commissioner cabled yesterday at noon as follows; — The hemp market is very quiet, especially for distant deliveries, hut there is more demand for immediate delivery. Good fair New Zealand £4B 10s, fair £47; Government graded fair Manila £sl IDs, coarse £47. Forward shipment good fair New Zealand £47 IDs, fair £45 IDs; Government graded fair Manila. £4O, coarse £4(5. The output from Manila for the week was 19,000 halos.
