FULLER’S PICTURES,

The current programme at Fuller’s is of the usual high standard, and features as a, special attraction a. splendid Edison drama, “Gladiolia,” featuring the sweetest girl on Qie screen, Miss Viola. Dana, supported by Robert Connoss, Put. O’Mally and a good caste. Some strong supporting pictures are: “Making Big Shells,” a subject of much interest; “The Beachcombers,” drama; “The Patho Gazette," and Waffles in War Time,” a Pathe comedv.

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.

An outstanding feature of Friday’s change of programme is “A Man of God.” On an island three bodies are Avashed ashore, a. priest, a girl, and a man. The priest aids the others. He gazes at the man, and recalls his insult to a, girl on hoard. For mouths they live as castaAvays. The priest night and day Avatching both man and girl. The girl believes in the man’s moral honesty. Ulimately she learns the truth and (tees lo the priest for protection. He Avarns the man against any further passionate demonstrations. The priest falls ill, and the girl is fearful of Avhat might happen should be die. In her terror she throws her arms about the priest’s neck and pleads that lie live for her. The man waleliing outside turns away wilh anger in his heart. He does not see the embrace relax, nor bear him tell ber that he will not die and leave her unprotected. The man enters the. shack and accuses the priest of desiring the girl. The priest throws himself upon him and a terrible battle folloAvs. A big and varied list of supports include: —“Californian Scrap Book,” scenic; “Sonny Jim,” comedy-drama; “The Latest Topical Budget”; “The Sacred Bracelet,” drama; “An Unwilling Burglar,” comedy; “Midnight Prowlers,” comedy.
