The final figures in the liquor referendum are: — Six o’clock closing 347,404 Seven o’clock 4,730 Eight o’clock 21,134 Nino o’clock 178,812 Ten o’clock 1,445 Eleven o’clock 3,193 Men voters outnumbered the women hy 3(i,llfi. The absolute majority required to give effect to any hour was 278,450. Six o’clock closing was thus carried with a surplus of nearly 70,000 votes.
