Grcymputli, July 17.

At the Grcymouth Port Waterside Union meeting yesterday a letter Avas received from Ihe fedora. - tion of Labour, asking Avhether the local union Avas in favour of a general strike as a protest against the National Service Bill.

It Avas decided to reply with an emphatic negative, and also that any further communication from the Federation be placed in the wastepaper basket unread.
