PATRIOTIC SCHOOL FAIR.
Arrangements in connection with the above arc now nearing completion, Patrons of to-morrow’s function should bo delighted with the entertainment. An excellent programme of musical items has been arranged. Mr Gahites, who has had charge of this department, has been successful in getting together as fine an orchestra- as has been heal’d in Foxton. Part songs and drills by the children make a. most attractive addition to the programme. The Borough Band will also discourse sweet- music at intervals during the evening. The head teacher and the staff are delighted with the hearty response from parents and others, and we feel sure the results will be an eye-opener to the Foxton public. Goods are being marked at a. reasonable price, and thrifty housewives will he able to make an outlay to the host advantage. A parade of the school cadets and the hand will take place at 2.15, and the fair will be opened at 2.30 o’clock to-mor-row afternoon. It av ill also be open in the evening from 7.30 to 10.30 o’clock.
