The Rev. D. C. Bates wires as follows at noon to-day :
Southerly moderate to strong winds, backing by east to north, and freshening. Expect dull weather and much mist and fog in parts; rain probable. The barometer has a falling- tendency. Sea, considerable off shore, tides moderate.
