THE VALANCE TRIGGE MISSION.
(Contributed.) The hVv. and Mis. Valance Trigge, of Melbourne, arc touring New Zealand for the purpose of conducting evangelistic missions on behalf of the Methodist Church. They will shortly arrive in Foxton to commence a ten days mission in Ihe local Methodist Church on Sunday, July Kith. Since Mr Trigge’s arrival in New Zealand, he has conducted several very successful missions with highly gratifying results. From Port Albert, Hamilton, Auckland, and ITawera, reports have come to hand of soul-stirring’ times. Great revivals of religion have taken place in each of these places, and numbers of conversions and consecrations have been recorded. The evangelist is a man of God, with a great passion for uplifting men, and possesses tact, good humour, and an abundance of sanctified common sense. His address on “The Old Folks at Home” has proved a source of unbounded blessing to the aged and infirm, and “The Story of My Life’' is a treat to listen to, being a remarkable record of Christian service and conversions to God. Mr Trigge is at present in Ilawera, where one of his most inspiring missions is now in progress. AVoodville is the next place of call, and then Fox!on is to be favoured with (he services of this great vangclist from Melbourne. If Foxton desires to be blessed above measure, they should not miss the opportunity of hearing the Rev. Trigge.
