GOOD PRICES REALISED,

Highly satisfactory prices were realised for wool offered at the linal sale of the season to-day. With the exception of seedy wool, all classes were keenly competed for, and considering the quality of the catalogues, the market, was stronger than at either id'tlit* principal sales. Entries comprised 1.35(i hales. There was a good bench of buyers, and practically a full clearance was effected. Representatives of Bradford houses purchased the hulk of the offering. A. small proportion was secured hy wool scourers, while the representatives of New Zealand mills were inactive. Bright lines of crossbred were eagerly sought hy Bradford buyers, and prices were from Id lo lid higher than in Eehruary. The top prim* was 17d per II). for live hales. Medium crossbred sold up to In pi. while inferior sorts showed an advance of .Id to fullv tali’ rales.
A feature was the exceptional demand for erutehings, the highest price being 1-1 Ad for four bales. Prices for lambs’ wool advanced under strong competition hy scourers, superior lots selling al Jd and inferior at 2d to 3d higher than al last sale. A line of twenty-nine sold at. laid.
